  • ADB Fastboot Tool (Download HERE)

Download Zenfone 2 system file has rooted

  1. Enable USB debugging (Tutorial HERE)
  2. Turn off your Asus Zenfone 2.
  3. Go to fastboot mode (hold the Power button + Volume up, when the phone is vibrating release power button)

  10. Type fastboot flash system system.img
  11. Wait until the flashing process is completed, approximately 10 minutes
  12. Done, and now your Zenfone 2 have been rooted

    I cant remember how, but finally got it, I repeated the same process many times, I tried with different images and finally worked. I even tried with the wrong image (the phone got bricked for a bit).
