After Philippines, The Asus Zenfone 5 Lite has finally made its way to the Indian shores. Compared to the Zenfone 5, the Asus Zenfone 5 Lite has a very meager Rs. 1000 difference as it is priced at Rs. 8,999. ASUS Zenfone 5 Lite powered from the inside by a 1.2 GHz Intel Atom processor. The Lite version of the phone features a 1 GB of RAM which should be more than capable of handling all apps and games without difficulty. It has the same 8 GB of internal storage space and has 64 GB support with the micro SD card expansion slot.
The Asus Zenfone 5 Lite has been downgraded a bit to match the price tag. The Lite phone features the same 5-inch IPS LCD display but it has a significant drop in the resolution which is now at 960 x 540 pixels. The display has anti-fingertip coating to avoid smudges and has long lasting durable finish.
There’s an 8 megapixel rear camera for your photography needs and a VGA front cam for video calling. The phone is powered by a 2500 mAh battery and runs on Android Kit Kat 4.4 out of the box. Asus has also promised earlier that they will roll out Android L to their phones soon. It also has Bluetooth, 3G, Wifi and Glonass.
