Steps of Update:
  1. Check software version of your device**
  2. Download device software and Update SOP (From “Manual” Item)
  3. Only apply to same SKU update, Example: WW->WW, CN->CN, TW->TW, CHT->CHT.
  4. Software update cannot transfer the software SKU and downgrade the software version.
  5. Wrong SKU may cause update failure, please update the same SKU version only.

    my zenfone 6 WW version. I have a problem after update to kitkat 4.4. at mobile network settings. access point name is error( i can not put access point name). at the moment I just update to Version V2.19.40.18.but still not fix it
    so asus can you release firmware to fix it. thanks.

      Updates KitKat at Zenfone currently quite a lot of bugs, we also hope ASUS soon release firmware to fix all these bugs.

    Asus Zenfone 5 WW version after update to Kitkat could not set Access point name "Unfortunately, Setting has stopped".

    If you can't set APN you must insert another SIM from no OMV operator to FIX... or change the SIM slot to configure correctly.

    i had the problem, Just updated the firmware to 2.19,
    and i noticed my mobile data does not work and as well as the keyboard in any applications does not appear, thus i can not type any thing.
    did you guys find the solution to it or any suggestion that might help?

    sir i have a problem with my zenfone 5 t00j ww after update to kitkat 4.4.2. the high size games like realboxing and asphalt didnt respond when i lauch it. did you guys find the solution to it that might help ?

    People, I found the solution for people who have the problem of APN, is a comment from someone else, thanks to him, it was resolved in the 2 SIM

    To fix the APN issue, you must install a different SIM card temporarily that doesn't cause the APN settings page crash. I tried one from Lebara and swapped back to my original SIM card when in the APN settings page (that opened after I had changed the SIM card). So, basically, just find a SIM card that doesn't cause the crash and then switch back while with the APN Settings page open. Worked like a charm and I'm back online on 3G

    Is it necessary to save the applications before upgrading to Kitkat?
    This update deletes all user data?

      At least for me, No I did not have to back up my application I upgraded to Kitkat normally no data was deleted.

    Hi all,

    I have encountered 2 problems after upgrading my Zenfone5 T00J WW version to Kitkat.

    1. The phone SOMETIMES stays in black screen (does not wake up from sleep mode). I have to continuously press the power button to hard reboot the phone, and then turn it back on again.

    2.Under random circumstances the microSD card gets disconnected and reconnected.

    Does anybody else has this kind of problem?

    Any querries from Asus maybe ?

      Same here! and my F**ing WiFi isn't working at all. now i can't downgrade to 4.3.
      i'm mad!!!!!
