How to Install TWRP Touch Recovery For Zenfone 5 - Team Win Recovery Project or TWRP for short,  is a special custom recovery for android gadgets. Install TWRP Ricovery via ADB:

1. Your Zenfone must be Rooted (Tutorial HERE)
2. Download and Install Intel USB Driver at your Computer / PC (Download HERE)
3. Download TWRP installer and extract the files: (Download HERE)
4. Download ADB fastboot tool and extract the RAR file (Download HERE)
5. Download and extract Platform-Tools (Download HERE)
6. Activate the USB Debugging option (Tutorial HERE)
7. Connect your Zenfone 5 to your computer or laptop using the USB cable.
8. Find and double click the install.bat file (don’t forget to allow SuperSu access to ADB)
9. Wait for it and DONE !

Boot into droidboot / fastboot mode by pressing and holding the power button / volume down button simultaneously. Install TWRP Ricovery via Root Explorer:

1. Your Zenfone must be Rooted (Tutorial HERE)
2. Download and Install Root Explorer at your Zenfone (Download HERE)
3. Download TWRP Recovery and extract file (Download HERE)
4. Copy the 3 files (adbon.sh, recovery.tar, busybox) existing in zenfone_5_twrp_installer folders to SDCard.
5. Move adbon.sh file and recovery.tar file to a directory folder  /system/bin/ if the message replace select yes, and then set permissions rwxr-xr-x
6. Moving busybox file to a directory folder /system/xbin/ ,and then set permissions rwxr-xr-x
7. Rename file /system/recovery-from-boot.p to recovery-from-boot.bak
8. Down, and restart your Zenfone
