Earlier this year at CES 2015, ASUS CEO Jerry Shen Unveils ASUS ZenFone 2, the flagship smartphone in the new-generation ZenFone family. With a gorgeous all-new ergonomic design.
Asus has finally announced that the company’s most expected ZenFone 2 smartphone will be available in India in the last week of April. However, Asus hasn’t yet clarified which variant/s will be sold in India, so for now we’ll give key specs on all of the versions.
Starting with the ZenFone 2 ZE500CL, this one has a 1.6GHz dual-core processor, a 5-inch display with resolution of 1280 x 720, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD to 64GB. The next variant is the ZenFone 2 ZE550ML. This one is a dual SIM handset with a 1.8GHz quad-core processor, a larger 5.5-inch display with 1280 x 720 resolution, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage, expandable to 64GB. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, a 5-megapixel front-facing unit, and a 3000 mAh battery.
Finally there’s the ZenFone 2 ZE551ML, which itself comes in two options. The 2GB variant has a 1.8GHz quad-core processor while the 4GB variant has a 2.3GHz quad-core CPU. It has a 5.5-inch display with 1920 x 1080 resolution, and 16, 32 or 64GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD to 64GB.
