Deletei presume that you use a screen protector...correct me if im wrong...
Deletesometimes screen protector blocks the sensor from detecting the user...I used to have this kind of problem...so, my choice is to remove the upper part of the screen protector where the sensor is located...now I dont have that kind of problem anymore...I hope this helps...

DeleteI am also facing the same issue. No screen guard or similar thing is used. This issue is with out of the box phone. No other way if we want to hang up the call. I have one additional issue. I am not able to find any settings under ZenMotion settings. Please comment if anyone has solution for this.

DeleteClean your proximity sensor. If the same persists remove your screen guard
Enable the power button ends call option in Settings -> Accesibility

ReplyDeleteI have opted for Ultra power Save mode at my Zenfone 2 due to power shortage, and was working fine. After some time I tried to open the phone it was showing limited option mode that is a circle of ring with icons like camera etc., Further the screen is not able to open to normal function even I have tried all possible ways like double tap, restart, fully charged. My phone could not be operated. Please any one can help me to bring my phone to normal mode to be operated.

I face the same issue. My screen is getting turned off in double tapping. After that if i double tap, its not getting turned on. I used a screen pfotector, after that its happening like this. Also while receiving or dialing a call, screen gets turned off or locked till the call ends. Is this a problem of the phone, or due to screen guard. Kindly provide some solutions.

ReplyDeleteGuys, if you are using a screen protector, then this is the only cause which is creating problem. I tried by removing the upper part of the screen protector where senser is located. Now the double tap to wake up and screen gets locked issues are solved. So make sure that you have allowed the sensor completely free.

ReplyDeletehi i have bought asus zenfone laser 2 yesterday and it is not waking up on double tap though it sleeps on double tap. if anyone knows how to fix this please tell me . and also i have put on a tempered glass screen guard but still the double tap to sleep is working properly but not the double tap to wake up. also the phone is sleeping during call and display is going off .

ReplyDeletefirst remove your mobile screenprotector. Its block proximate sensor. After that wake up feature and is working properly.

ReplyDeleteGo phone - diapad: - settings - call screen settings - and uncheck the Turn on proximity sensor box.
