Asus Zenfone 4 AOSP ROM - Android Open Source Project or so-called AOSP an official firmware released by Google which is an open source, for smartphones and tablets based on Android operating system. Basically AOSP is pure android system without a lot of bloatware and burdensome launcher.

Download Files :

• AOSP ROM for Asus Zenfone 4 (Download HERE)
• Philz Recovery Installer (Download HERE)
• ADB Tools (Download HERE)

Instructions :

1. Your Zenfone 4 must be Rooted (Tutorial HERE)
2. Your Zenfone have update to Android KitKat
3. Install Philz APK
4. Backup Data with TitaniumBackup (If you need to)
5. Extract ADB Tools, and AOSP ROM, then place all files to ADB folder
6. Go to Philz (Reboot Zenfone 4 and hold volume +/- then you will enter philz recovery)
7. At Philz Recovery choose Wipe and Format Options > Custom Format Options > Format Data
8. Choose Power Options > Reboot Bootloader
9. Connect your Zenfone 4 to PC/Laptop with USB cable
10. At ADB Folder Press Shift + Right Click and choose Open Command Here
11. At Command Terminal Type This (Make Sure you place all files you need at ADB Folder) :
    • fastboot flash boot boot.img (enter)
    • fastboot flash system system.img (enter) (wait until finish )
    • fastboot continue (enter)
12. Done
