  • Turn off mobile data & wifi /Airplane mode
  • Open RootZenFone 1.4.6r
  • Click Root, after 10 seconds Turn off, and Turn on wait until complete

      You will still get the latest firmware update from ASUS, but after the update your Zenfone 6 are not in a state of root

    I just ordered the Asus MeMO Pad 7 ME176CX-A1-BK and I noticed that the root tool is working with this model. Has anyone come into problems with it? Also I was wondering if there was a way to get CWM or TWRP on it.

    How can I gain root access again after updating my firmware? I lost root access when i updated it and when I tried to reroot, I was stucked in the demo mode, therefore I need to do a factory reset but the superuser app is still there. Is there any way to fix this? thanks!

    Not working with the new V3.2.23.182 (after reboot the device is still in demo mode and not rooted)

    android 4.4.2 stock build KVT49L.WW-fonepad-11.2.3.18.2-20141022 release-keys ....
    follow as per instruct and you are rooted with SuperSU
    no loss of data and no factory reset required.
    it is safe and tested.
    but please backup data if needed.

    This worked initially on my ME170C (K017) when it was on Kitkat 4.4.2, however I unrooted and then installed the Asus firmware (UL-K017-WW-12.8.1.33) for Lollipop 5.0, now I am unable to root the device again it says failed.
