How to Install TWRP V2.8.7.0 Recovery for Asus Zenfone 5
Files Nedded- ADB Tools (Download HERE)
- Intel USB Driver (Download HERE)
- TWRP V2.8.7.0 for Zenfone 5 (Download HERE)
- Download all files nedded above
- Place TWRP-2870_Zenfone5.img to ADB Folder
- Unlock Zenfone 5 Bootloader (Tutorial HERE)
- Turn off Zenfone 5 A500CG
- Boot into Bootloader (by pressing Power button + Volume up)
- When you see fastboot GUI, connect Zenfone 5 to PC/laptop
- at ADB folder open CMD (Hold Shift+RightClick > Open command Here)
- At Command Promt type:
- fastboot flash recovery TWRP-2870_Zenfone5.img (enter)
- Then press vol down 5 times until "Reboot recovery" shows up and press power 1 time to boot into recovery
